Anyhow, it reads as a fairly cordial exchange, with a little bit of the elder/younger struggle manifesting itself. Youngers always get labeled as emotional (i.e., immature). Also this thing about "you remind me of me as a youth" seems a little egocentric and perhaps controlling.
